How to Make the Perfect Artichoke Dip: A Step-by-Step Recipe

Artichoke dip is the timeless classic of appetizers, whether it’s a party, some small get-together, or just a night in. It’s creamy, flavorful—really a crowd-pleaser. Here’s how you can make the perfect artichoke dip that’s sure to impress:

Ingredients

1 can (14 oz) artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley, optional, for garnish

Instructions

Preheat Your Oven:

Set your oven to 375°F. This ensures it’s hot and ready for baking your dip.
Prepare the Artichokes:

Drain and chop the artichoke hearts into bite-sized pieces. Make sure they are well-drained so they don’t make the dip watery.

Mix the Ingredients:

In a medium bowl, combine chopped artichoke hearts, mayonnaise, grated Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, minced garlic, dried basil, and dried oregano. Mix well. Season with salt and pepper if desired.

Transfer to Baking Dish:

Spread the mixture evenly into a baking dish. You can use a 9-inch pie dish or an 8×8-inch baking dish.
Bake:

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly. Garnish and Serve: Allow the baked dip to be slightly cooled before serving. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, if desired. Serve warm with tortilla chips, sliced baguette or fresh vegetables for dipping. How to Make the Perfect Artichoke Dip Use Fresh Ingredients: Freshly grated Parmesan and mozzarella cheese will greatly enhance the flavor and texture of the dip.

Don’t Overmix: Overmixing will make the dip way too soft. Mix just until combined.

Adjust Seasonings: You can adjust the seasoning according to your taste. Add a dash of red pepper flakes if you want a little heat in it.
